BoatU.S. Foundation Boating Safety Grantees:

NY: Going Coastal, Inc., New York: To create a “Boat Sober NYC” campaign to educate boaters on alcohol and boating safety.

FL: St. Lucie River Power Squadron, Hope Sound: To produce tide charts that contain information on alcohol and boating.

GA: Black Boaters Club of America, Inc., Riverdale: To produce a radio and video public service announcement on boating safety topics including alcohol and boating.

KY: Friends of Barren River Lake, Glasgow: To create signage promoting the use of proper lighting during nighttime boating, and to create signage to raise awareness regarding alcohol and boating.

ME: YES! Program, Portland: To create a TV program and public service announcement on the dangers of alcohol and boating.

MO: SEMO Regional Water Safety Council, Inc., Wappapello: To produce a whistle keychain with light and compass that contains safety messaging regarding alcohol and boating.

NC: Kinston Sail and Power Squadron, Kinston: To produce chart brochures and signs for the Neuse River.

TX: USCGA 08-07-05, San Antonio: To create a public service announcement promoting the use of life jackets while boating.

WA: North Olympic Sail & Power Squadron, Sequim: To produce a brochure and banner to educate boaters about alcohol and boating.
