Notice of Intent, Draft Application, and Request for Waiver and Process
On June 1, 2009, New York Tidal Energy Company, a subsidiary of Oceana Energy Company, submitted a Notice of Intent, a Draft Application, and a Request for Waiver and Process to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for an original license for a hydrokinetic project, The East River Tidal Energy Pilot Project (P-12665), under the April 14, 2008, FERC issued a guidance for “Licensing Hydrokinetic Pilot Projects.” Additional information on this project is available by calling the FERC’s Office of External Affairs at                866-208-3372         or ferc.gov, and referencing Docket No. P-12665.
The submission is now part of the record for the above Docket(s) and is available for review and downloading at FERC’s eLibrary system at:
